Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the BRIC platform. By creating an account or enrolling in a course you agree to them.

  1. Who we are

    BRIC — Bayan Research & Intellect Center — operates this platform and the courses offered on it. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean BRIC; "you" means the person using the platform.

  2. Your account

    You need an account to enrol in courses. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you believe someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Teacher and parent accounts are reviewed before approval, and we may decline or withdraw approval where the submitted credentials cannot be verified.

  3. Courses and access

    Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable right to access a course for as long as it remains available to you. Course content, structure and instructors may change as material is revised. We do not guarantee any particular qualification, certification outcome, or result from completing a course.

  4. Payments and refunds

    Paid courses show their price before you check out. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your card details. If a course is not what was described, contact us — we review refund requests individually and in good faith.

  5. How you may use the platform

    Use the platform respectfully. Do not share your account, redistribute course material, harass other students or teachers, upload unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service. Discussions, messages and study circles are moderated, and we may remove content or suspend an account that breaches these rules.

  6. Content and ownership

    Course material, recordings, texts and the platform itself remain the property of BRIC or the scholars and publishers we work with. You may use them for your own study. Anything you submit — assignments, notes, discussion posts — remains yours, and you grant us the limited permission needed to store it and show it where the platform is designed to show it.

  7. Availability and changes

    We work to keep the platform running but cannot promise uninterrupted access; maintenance, upstream outages and unforeseen faults happen. We may update these terms as the platform develops. Where a change materially affects you we will make it visible rather than quietly replacing the text.

  8. Ending your use

    You may stop using the platform and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. Where we do, we will tell you why.
